Everything is geared towards learning through play at Adventure Valley’s Day Nursery and Pre-School.
As well as spending time in the new Nursery building and private gardens, children also visit Adventure Valley daily to pet the farm animals, ride the tractor and trailer ride or become ‘real’ buccaneers on board the pirate ship.
We use a teaching style called ‘Planning in the Moment’. It allows our team to create a learning opportunity from any activity or toy. They won’t know they are being taught – they are just having fun! Click here to download our eBook and find out more.
Babies
Ratio 1:3 – From 6 weeks to 24 months
No additional fees at Adventure Valley for 9 month old Government Grant.
A safe, caring and stimulating environment has been created in our purpose-built Baby and Pre-Toddler Rooms. Combining movement, sound, colour and touch, babies are encouraged to explore and develop. We strive to mirror the feeding routines, nappy changes and sleep routines you use at home and we supply all nappies, wipes, and formula milk free of charge.
Outdoors, your child will also enjoy a dedicated area in our Nursery gardens with visits to the animals on-site at Adventure Valley.
Toddlers
Ratio 1:5 – From 24 to 36 months
More structured than the Baby Room, every activity in the Toddler Room is considered a fun learning opportunity. Like our other rooms, activities take place within the Nursery building, private garden or on supervised to Adventure Valley.
Toddlers are encouraged to enjoy early maths, develop their language skills, participate in creative play and learn to relax at story time. We will also work closely with you to complement your potty training!
Pre-School
Ratio 1:8 – From 3 to 5 years
Preparing your child for school, we follow the key stages of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You can expect Pre-School to be full of rich learning experiences, with free-flow between the setting and the garden, as well as daily supervised visits to Adventure Valley to visit the animals.

Adventure Valley Day Nursery is hosting an Enrolment Week, running on Saturday 27th September – Saturday 4th October 2025 (excluding Sunday 28th), with limited appointments available! This is your opportunity to see our fantastic Nursery and Pre-School, meet the team and hear all about the daily trips we take onto the farm. Please book only one ticket per family.
